The child was in the 2-year-old classroom. The babies spend time with the 1-year-olds, who in turn spend time with the 2-year-olds, so they couldn't assure us Ian hadn't been exposed. Doctor says it's not cradle cap, but just a good old case of dry scalp. So, until we can use conditioner on his hair, we have to periodically rub olive oil into his hair, let it sit (aka "marinate the baby") and wash it out. He'll be the first Cannon grandchild, but the fourth Boeckman - however, he's the first boy. Needless to say, everybody is super excited for the little guy to get here. Our guinea pig, Alice, got very sick unexpectedly and on April 29th we had to have her put to sleep. She was a great pig, loved cherry tomatoes, spinach and games of pet-the-nose. Her sister Betty misses her greatly, as does DJ.
